Atlanta veteran rapper T.I. is not falling for the BS and is calling out his friends on meeting with Trump.
“I’m gonna tell all you celebrities — black, white, minority, athletes, all of you — there’s a strategic plan that people are trying to make you a part of. So do not accept any invitation to have any meeting,” says Tip in the first of his three Instagram videos.
In the second clip, he suggests that Trump is using West and Harvey as pawns to lure in voters he couldn’t win over during November’s election. “They seen how adamantly against him being president the hip-hop community and young black people in America was, so what do they do? They get Kanye West. He’s their representative. They listen to his music. They buy his shoes. They go see him in concert. Well, surely, we’ll take a picture with him. He smiles and he says he’s cool with it. He’ll fall right in line,” he says.
He adds, “You got black women. You know, they were against it. Well, who speaks to the black women? Steve Harvey. Let’s get him in here. He’ll take a picture. He’ll smile. He’ll say it’s cool. He’ll fall right in line.”
In the third clip, T.I. sharpens his focus on West, Harvey, NFL legend Jim Brown, and Martin Luther King Jr. III. “Kanye. What the f–k you doing? Steve, man you know way better than that, man. Jim Brown? Really? Martin Luther King? It’s yo’ go-d–n daddy birthday, bro.”
He also posted the previous day, a letter to Trump himself and had some words personally for him:
